Thomas Paul was born and raised in New York City and after graduating from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in textile design, he worked as a designer for a silk mill specializing in neckwear and scarves for clients such as Bill Blass, Calvin Klein, and DKNY. In 2001, the thomaspaul pillow collection launched, which was originally conceived of as an idea of utilizing the silk printing mill’s capabilities for home accessories instead of personal accessories.

I love Thomas Paul. One of his pillows was one of my 1st design splurges. That melamine with the doily is great… I am going to have to get some of those!
