Buying Burlap

I’ve loved burlap since I first began to take notice of the coffee-bags-refashioned-into-pillows trend. The raw earthiness of the fabric adds a sense of textural depth to anything it adorns, and I’m delighted to see the textile popping up in variety of places and in many an application. To infuse a little of this textural goodness into your family’s lives, check out these 9 hand-selected products.

I used burlap for a accent in my wedding colors. I had the bridesmaids in a pale pink and I used the burlap to tone down the femininity of the pink. I used the burlap to wrap the favors in and wrapped a few attendant gifts with.

  3. Oh I love those buckets. I am such a burlap fan.

  5. I picked up a coffee table out of the trash. The top had veneer that was peeling off, but the rest of it was sturdy. So I painted it black and covered the top inset in burlap and painted words in black to resemble a vintage coffee sack.
