I don’t even have children yet and I struggle with this one! All of my friends do so I never get to do adult things with them anymore. Also I wear jeans, tees, and running shoes to work. Great, except I have found myself living in that or my work out clothes. I almost feel uncomfortable now dressing up or even feminine! The real me is all about clothes and looking appropriate for any given situation but since I can’t wear these things to work I feel I can not warrent the purchases anymore. I miss me, I was spunky

I keep my texture with a nice balance of family, friends, and me time, which at minimum includes a shower and no on sitting on my lap for meals.

I need a balance too. Too much “people” time drains me. I need a bit of alone time each day to recharge. During the summer, that doesn’t happen very much, but I know it will balance out when school starts again.

Good question, my personal texture has evolved as an artist and mother of three. My closely knit texture of my family and friends makes me feel connected and then my solitary time allows me to smooth out. I think for me it is a balance of family and me time.
